Prayer Focus on Justice

The Micah Challenge on 10.10.10 is encouraging Christians worldwide to pray and act for justice. You can see their resources on http://www.micahchallenge.org.uk/

You can pray specifically for Retrak too:

·        Give thanks for the way in which so many desperate children can be supported by Retrak when their voice isn’t being heard

·        Pray for the families of each child- that they will have the patience and love they need

·        Pray  for the other authorities involved in the lives of the children- especially when they are on the streets- that they will support the children in the best way possible

·        Pray for the Retrak team who teach the children about their rights- that their teaching will empower children to have a voice against injustice

·        Pray for the Greater Manchester Police volunteer team who are going travel to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia this November, to help renovate a brand new drop-in centre – a vital facility for many children, as it provides the first step towards reintegration and a life away from the street.
