London “too hot” for Marathon Man, Stephen!

Huge thanks and respect to Stephen Goddard who ran the London Marathon on April 22^nd 2007 for RETRAK and raised over £1,900!

Three days after the event Stephen wrote;

“The long and the short of it was that it was too hot by a long way. The first two thirds was run in bright sun with little shade and no air. I was struggling by 7/8 miles and by half way I was done. It was then just a case of concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other around Canary Wharf I had big doubts that I would make it, but I did. I finished in 4 hours 27 min 4 sec. I am still suffering now which underlines how tough it was.”
