Lucy is 11 yeas old but has no parents. Her Mum died when she was 2 years old, so Lucy went to live with her grandfather in a slum area. With six other children to feed, her grandfather couldn't afford to look after her, so at the age of six, Lucy left to live on the streets. Existing on the streets as a young girl is extremely hard. Lucy has suffered bullying from older children and sexual abuse from street boys. Her health is poor and she is desperately in need of help. Lucy told The Caleb Project staff that her dream is to go to school.
