Thanks to all who played in the Annual Cricket Match at Stratford Upon Avon on September 9th.

After the original July match date was called off during the floods the Stratford church team enjoyed its 2nd game of a very wet summer (which saw more games cancelled than played!).  It was played at the NFU Mutual sports ground in Stratford.  With pitch hire fees waived it enabled money to be raised to support Retrak's work in Africa.
 
As important as the actual game our gallant supporters turned up with their picnic hampers to make sure we all had plenty to eat! Two short games of 15 overs and 10 overs a-side allowed everyone who took part to have a bat and bowl each.
 
Many thanks to all who took part and we look forward to doing the same again in 2008.
