After his both parents died, the surviving care giver was dangerously abusive. Eventually the child contracted cholera and was abandoned at hospital. This was after Allan was removed from the streets of Kampala as the youngest street dweller of the time. After treatment, the child could not get back into the community, and was finally brought to Tiger’s Club by volunteers who had treated him. Too young to join the emergency refuge, the warden at the Clubhouse received him at his family. This family has since become his own family. Once believed to be a dull and slow learner, Allan has come out of this state and is doing well at school. He has even forgotten his past life completely.
