Retrak will feature on BBC Radio 4 at the end of January, in an appeal by actor James McAvoy. The appeal will be broadcast on Sunday 31st January at 7.55am and 9.26pm and will then be repeated on Thursday 4th February at 3.27pm on frequency FM 92.4-94.6 and LW 198. After the broadcast you will also be able to listen to it online at
www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer.
During the appeal, James McAvoy will talk about his experience of Retrak whilst filming in Uganda. We are delighted that he has found time in his busy filming schedule to present the appeal and we hope that all friends and supporters will tune in.
From the appeal we are hoping to raise enough money to increase the services we provide in Africa, in order to help as many street children as possible make a permanent move away from the streets. To raise as much money as possible, we need all our supporters to tell their friends and family to tune in - why not aim to tell four people about the broadcast?
More information will be posted on our website in the coming weeks, so please log on to www.retrak.org. We will also be producing postcards for supporters to send out to friends and family to publicise the appeal, so if you would like to receive copies then please email
mailbox@retrak.org.
Thanks for tuning in!
