TRI-COUNTY ‘BACK-TO-SCHOOL’ BIKEATHON3rd September 2017
Retrak premieres the first ever UK cycle event to be launched by former street children on Sunday 3 September.
The Tri-County ‘back-to-school’ Bikeathon skids off from Buxton in Derbyshire and will feature a unique announcement from street children in Uganda 6,400 miles away!
This 25-mile sponsored cycle (a shorter route is available for 10-13 years olds) follows an exhilarating track around three counties through Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire. With help from a 30-piece brass band geeing up cyclists, there are incredible views of the Peak District landscape and an exciting tried-and-tested track for all abilities. Take it at your own pace, make new friends and complete the distance to take part in the final prize draw.
‘Retrak’s street children want to help you help Retrak; skyping with you on the day is their way of getting right behind you!’ Sir Peter Fahy, Retrak’s CEO.
All cyclists to donate a minimum £10 to register and have a fundraising target of £70. Scout leaders can register for entire scout groups.*
