2014 Annual Review OUT NOW
Retrak looks back on 2014 as a year of new initiatives, new approaches and yet more impact for the communities where we work. Download our highly visual Annual Review showing striking photographs of the street children we meet every day as well as quotes from some of our partners and supporters.
Read how we made two significant and pioneering steps in 2014 while delivering our work to more than 17,000 beneficiaries: one was designing a new method for counting street children and then successfully piloting the method in Malawi. We also published the findings in our unique Headcount document available for download here; a first for a street child organisation.
The second significant step was Retrak’s family reintegration procedures (Standard Operating Procedures or SOPs) which were being used throughout 2014 as a key document in designing a set of internationally recognised guidelines for reintegration. Our SOPs are freely available to download here and provide a practical guide in implementing our model across the sector in a step-by-step format.
Looking forward, our CEO Diarmuid O Neill is stepping down after an amazing seven years. Read his letter, and his experience, in making Retrak one of the most respected street child agencies in the world. Download the Annual Review here
